For sharpening and maintenance of the ICAR knife range we recommend contacting a member of our team.  Apply a light lubrication fluid when in storage, such as WD40. As a result the blades will not rust. Store the knives in a protective pouch, free from moisture. This prevents damage in storage as a result.

A bench mount knife sharpener with a mop, and light abrasive sanding belt is best for sharpening the knives. Polish the blade with a white knife polishing compound. The sanding belt should only be used for correcting damages in the blade. For instance, stone damage.  Regular sharpening helps keep the blade in optimal condition. This means the knives will last longer.
